Unfortunately, we are idolaters at heart, and the best we can do in this life is move from one idol to another. This is why Christ died for the sin of idolatry of his elect people. If it weren’t for Christ’s mercy towards us, we would all go to hell, there is no escape from idolatry, not in this world, except in the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

With all due respect, this is a conversation that is repeated over and over and I just don’t get it. The alphabet community seem to put the ownership of their lifestyles on how others receive them and accept them. For example, I’ve never heard a gangbanger, murderer, rapist, drug addict, fornicator, liar, thief, idol worshipper, witch, money launderer, crooked politician or any other person engaging in an alternative lifestyle or life Christians would call “sin” ever have these conversations. I don’t know why they won’t accept my gang affiliation, they are bigots because I cheat on my wife and they judge me that is hate speech, I want to be identified as a financial planner and not a money launderer that is offensive and hurtful. These other people live their lives and they don’t seek your approval. Why is the LGBTQ community so thirsty for approval? Why don’t they just live their lives and do what they want? Why do they need to involve me? No harm intended, I just don’t understand.

He's not looking for perfect people. He knew your condition and Jesus died for you anyway, and if it had been for only you alone, He still would've gone to the cross. Don't wait until you're "perfect." He just wants you to come. He just wants you. Take the first step. He'll meet you where you are.

I found the lgbtq community to be toxic and spew so much hate and refuse to accept other people who have different beliefs then them. I no longer stand for the lgbtq community I use to fight and cry with them but I never seen and experienced so much hater prejudice and racism then in the lgbtq community . They turned on me when they found I believed in God not religion but having a personal relationship they cussed me out send me death threats and harassed all while I was showing the kindness love and standing with them. It hurt my feelings so bad and I had to work on not hating them but I keep my self distance from them because they are evil sneaky people they want to control and dominate the world and control how everyone feels and think because if you don’t agree with them then they have right to hurt you and hate on you which confuses me because their main message and love acceptances and accepting differences as long as you don’t be different then them or have different beliefs then them. Now I feel they are demonic cause ain’t no love or God in that way if acting and thinking. Gays are hypocrites and they forced their beliefs on everyone but bash Christian for the same thing yet they don’t seem they are also bigots and hypocrite

I'm sorry you're telling us our thinking is shallow. If this is what you think is the whole of scripture I'm out I guess. Scripture teaches patience, love, compassion and mercy but it also teaches other things like repentance for one. If you don't have the heart to tell someone they are living in sin then you don't love them. You can love someone right into hell and their blood will be on your hands. We are calling an apple an apple and sin,sin full stop. All this talk of being understanding why not just do what the bible says and call the sinner to repent. Enough said.

I need help: As a Christian, if a family member considers themselves trans, born male and now considers themselves female and has changed their name from a male name to a female name (or vice versa), are we to call them by their new name or their given name? I'm not talking about using their preferred pronouns, but their preferred name. My mom changed her name when she became an adult because she didn't like her given name (not because of trans) and her name change was basically acceptable to everyone except her parents. Now we have men changing their names to female names and vice versa. How do we show the person love without it coming off as giving in to their delusion?

I know Christian’s can’t accept lgbtq, but it’s difficult to be friends with a Christian because I know I can never be my true self around them. Because they will never be able to accept me for who I am. Being tolerated rather than supported by someone makes it awkward to be friends with (like Christians)

Thank you my Bro... I don't miss a to many nights without listening to your messages.. I study the WORD OF GOD daily and was saved 15 years ago April 23 2007 in a 8x10 jail cell... My home away from home.. I spent most of my adult life in and out of jail.. I remember first becoming scared of God and going to hell.. This went on for about 3 months but after listening to the greatest loving preacher I ever known.. I realized HE LOVED ME ANYWAY.. THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THAT CELL ONE NIGHT CRUSHED ME UNDER THE WEIGHT OF MY SIN... I lived a l pretty ruff life.. OK ok I lived a horrible life and I blame know one but myself.. I was raised in a Christian home but I had a great grandmother that was a Godly woman that prayed for me daily and read the Bible to me almost every time I came to her home.. As I got older the visit to her house slowed and eventually as I started using drugs and hanging with the cool kids I hardly ever visited her at all.. This lead to destruction in my life and when she passed it crushed me.. Sure I went to the funeral and wept and cried but it did not slow my awful lifestyle one bit.. As a matter of fact it probably got worse.. As I said before I ended up in and out of jail for most of my adult life.. Until I met a preacher Bro David MacKenzie.. He didn't get paid to come to the jail.. As far as I knew at the time he didn't have much money at all.. But he was faithful every Thursday night to come to that jail. He was even late one night because he had ran out of gas.. Me being a con I thought there's gotta be a reason he keeps coming.. He came on thanksgiving and Christmas and as I said he never missed a Thursday night.. To start with I went to church just to get out of my cell.. But something happen one night.. After preaching he looked at me and said I love you son.. AND I BELIEVED HIM... I started listening after that intensely to every word he preached.. One night in service I got under conviction which I didn't even know what was at the time.. And I raised my hand and and ask to be talked to about salvation.. He talked to me with the Bible being the subject and I lied and said yes I just got saved.. But deep down inside I knew I wasn't.. As the carried us back and locked us down that night I could not get the WORDS OF THE BIBLE out of my head.. As Joseph did in the Bible I wrestled with God all night until I was crushed to know a innocent man hung on my cross that I deserved.. I begged Him for for forgiveness and after that night I was a new creature.. I remember the first time I realized I had a different heart.. I was a big time drug dealer and sat at the big boys table and bragged about the God awful things I had dome and those at that table done the same thing.. After that night I went down to the table as I always did and here comes the filth from there mouth.. Not only could I not participating it I couldn't even listen to it.. I got up and went back to my cell and there lay my Bible that preacher had given to me.. I begin to read and somewhat understand most of what I read.. That was 15 years ago and the first 7 years after I got out I returned to that same jail to testify what God Had done for me and wanted to do for for WHOSOEVER WILL.. I felt led to share that with you.. Im not sure if you will read in but I pray someone will.. Love you much in Christ.. My name is Danny Brown my #is 470 494 1622.. Email dannybrownromans828@ Gmail.com..May the LORD JESUS be with you and your family and ministry.

I just read your whole testimony, and I think it is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. God can do a lot with broken people, especially if we realize that we are, were, broken, and willing to give Him the pieces. I used to have a internet porn problem, and through one of those chats, God came into my life, and I become a new person. My heart still breaks at the thought of what He did for me, for us, and that it even came to this. His absolute love still overwhelms me now after 10 years. I do have days where I feel weak in my faith, and where I am afraid thaf I might turn away from Him, but then more often I feel Him. Thank you again for sharing, and God bless you

The Bible says that Open rebuke is better than secret love. It is time for us to call a spade a spade. There is no such thing as an lgbt Christian. To be a Christian you have to be Christlike. and these people do not meet the criteria of Christlikeness. No not by a long way. An appropriate name for them is the acronym PCI or Perchrim. This stands for Perverted Christian Imitator. David Jeremiah told his congregation : Be what you is and not what you ain't. Cos if you ain't what you is you is what you ain't.

I hope you come back here, and give your input to my comment. I have stumbled across this video again, 8 months later, because I am constantly on the hunt for wisdom on group size. If you are going for intimacy, groups of 2 and groups of 5 are highly satisfying to individuals, compared to all other group sizes. Four is pretty good, too. 6 and above prevent intimacy. In groups of 5 or less, people tend to address each other directly. That one thing has so many benefits in most situations. I would be so bold as to say, "Use groups of 5 unless there's a good reason not to." Larger groups do tend to get people to participate at high rates, but the mechanism of action is different. There is a tendency toward social conformity, in order to "fit in". This has a tremendous effect in groups of 8 or more, but I would argue that this is the unhealthy way to gain participation. In a group of 5, there is still a lot of social risk, but it is manageable with a little courage, and people end up sharing more authentically, when it actually happens. It is slower. In a way, speaking to a large group is more about bravery and self control. Speaking to 4 other people is more about vulnerability and humility. Both are great. I would break up a group of 15 into three groups, and shuffle them regularly. I'm not even sure what type of groups you have experience with, so it makes my recommendation a shot in the dark... but you seem Jesus'y, so I thought this might have some value for your research. 5 is not the best number for the group. It targets group characteristics we don't normally target, but I think that is the major mistake we make with small groups. In a very expensive study, Google found that the most successful teams scored high in phycological safety. Five person groups have a lot of potential in providing that safety. When you shuffle groups, you put people in intimate contact with different sets of four people, and there's a good chance that you can get someone to contribute when there is a single other person that inspires them in the group. The reluctant person will talk directly to their inspiration, blind to the group around him or her. One on one communication is very high quality, even to observe, and it is often entertaining, as well - in a fairly deep sense. God bless.
